Oneness Villa is an authentic Kyomachiya with over 100 years of history. Fully renovated into a luxurious and functional guesthouse, Oneness Villa is the fourth guesthouse in our Hana Premium series of high-grade properties.
Oneness Villa is conveniently situated in the vibrant downtown area of Gion and Higashiyama and within walking distance of Shijo Dori. It is just a 8-minute walk from the nearest station, Gion Shijo Station on the Keihan Railway, and easily accessible within about a 10-minute taxi ride from Kyoto Station.
We fully renovated an authentic Kyomachiya with over a century of history, to welcome guests with a traditional exterior unique to Kyomachiya and a refined space designed with a modern Japanese aesthetic.
Oneness Villa is part of the Hana Premium series, the highest grade of Hana guesthouses, which offers superb quality and variety of fixtures, amenities, and guest activities.
A luxurious living space with views of the inner garden
The Japanese-style room with a Tokonoma alcove and tatami mats, merges with a modern Japanese living space, creating a cohesive and open environment with a sense of unity.
Featuring with a large bar counter table that seats up to eight, a spacious sofa, and a large LCD television, the space offers a view of the garden from the expansive living area. It is perfect for leisurely meals and conversation.
We also offer guests of Oneness Villa various optional activities and services, including opportunities to partake in a tea ceremony and a calligraphy lesson. We also offer catered food service.
In a space adorned with a Tokonoma alcove and traditional Kyoto pottery, typical of Kyoto, we welcome guests from around the world.
This traditional space can be enjoyed as part of the living space, or you may close the sliding doors to completely envelop yourself in Wa (Japanese aesthetic).
A complete facility with fixtures to support a pleasant stay
The space directly above the stairs leading to the 2nd floor features an atrium design exposing a large lantern-style light. The 2nd floor has one Western-style and one Japanese-style room.
The Western-style room features a ceiling with protruding beams, creating an open and relaxing space. It is a twin room with 2 single beds, equipped with top-of-the-line Simmons mattresses for a comfortable sleep environment. The Japanese-style room is adorned with features such as a tokonoma (alcove) and engawa (veranda), exuding a traditional atmosphere that evokes a sense of history. When futons are laid out, the room can also be used as a bedroom (accommodating up to 3 guests). And each bedroom is fully equipped with a wash basin, shower, and toilet, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The water facilities on the first floor boast a stylish interior and high-grade amenities. Here you'll find a wide counter and a mirror that is about 2 meters long.
Towards the rear, a semi-open-air bath allows you to appreciate the garden while offering ample space for family use, providing an extraordinary experience.
